Joe and Mabel Darpel tattooed in several cities across the country in the 1950's including: Norfolk, VA, Junction City, KS and San Antonio, TX. Joe Darpel also worked several carnivals traveling and tattooing across the country. They also owned a tattoo supply business while they were in Norfolk. We recently acquired the trunk they tattooed out of, a 40 pound box of acetate stencils, several sheets of their tattoo designs, several large display boards that hung in their studios and many other items. |
