Tattoo Charlie's at the corner of Preston Highway and the Outer Loop opened in 1991. In the summer of 1996, we remodeled and took over the store front next to us doubling the square footage of the studio. This opened up the lobby for a better waiting area and more tattoo designs. In the fall of 2010, we added a second shift and expanded our hours to 10:00 am to midnight every day.  The Preston Hwy. studio has 8 full time tattoo artists and 4 full time body piercers.

Directions

From North of Louisville: Take I-65 South through Louisville to exit 127 (Outer Loop) towards Okolona. Go to the first major intersection which is Preston Hwy. and turn right. Tattoo Charlie's is the first parking lot on the right.

From South of Louisville: Take I-65 North to exit 127 (Outer Loop) towards Okolona. Go to the first major intersection which is Preston Hwy. and turn right. Tattoo Charlie's is the first parking lot on the right.

From East of Louisville: Take I-64 West to I-65 South. Go through Louisville to exit 127 (Outer Loop) towards Okolona. Go to the first major intersection which is Preston Hwy. and turn right. Tattoo Charlie's is the first parking lot on the right.

From West of Louisville: Take I-64 across the Sherman-Minton bridge. Get on I-65 South. Go through Louisville to exit 127 (Outer Loop) towards Okolona. Go to the first major intersection which is Preston Hwy. and turn right. Tattoo Charlie's is the first parking lot on the right.
